Janet is working on a story for an anthology to be published by Harcourt Brace.
Her story is about a Mouse who lives in a shoe. She has many friends that want
to come and live with her. Some of them are characters from Janet's books!
Today Janet worked toward finishing several pages for this book. Now the Big Bad
Wolf is visiting and the Mouse has to talk it out of blowing down all of the
houses. You can also
see a page with some of Janet's favorite shoes starting
to be filled in. Notice the animals living in those shoes?
Photos of some of these shoes are included in the new
high heels feature.
