What's Happening in Janet's Studio?

She is traveling and drawing shortcake!

Janet has been traveling and talking to kids in schools. Last weekend she was in Pennsylvania and New York. This week she is in Washington! She is visiting a number of classes, including Room 5 and Mrs. Loosveldt at Cascade Elementary. This class is well prepared for the visit. They sent Janet letters about their favorite books!

Janet is also working on a couple of new books. She is in the early stages of both. One is a cooking book about a descendant of the Little Red Hen making shortcake. She is trying to decide how the shortcake (and the Rooster, do you like plaid?) should look!
